Kutty Srank - 2009
Kutty Srank is a short-tempered but law-abiding boatman whose work leads him to sail the back waters of Kerala. He is also a lonely and mysterious man. One day, when the local police station discovers an unidentified body washed ashore, three women come forward claiming it to be the dead body of Kutty Srank. Each of the three women -- a rich woman aspiring to be a Buddhist nun, an ex-convict, and a mute -- claims to be Kutty Srank's wife. The women have never met before and the stories they tell of life with Kutty Srank are very different from one another. Could they be talking about the same man? And, if so, how could this man have convinced three very different women that he was a committed and faithful husband while successfully keeping his other two lives a secret?
