(Homes where vigils fail)

For parents in societies like ours, life is a long vigil, one marked often by unachievable dreams and unexpected blows. In many a home, the vigil goes waste, events and powerful social forces assuming demonic force pull asunder lives so fondly nurtured. This film is about such a single-parent father whose vigil ends in tragedy.

Samuel, a government employee, is all dreams about his youngest daughter, Lisamma. His dreams get shattered as she falls into the gleeful clutches of a sex racket. As the devious machinations of the rich and the powerful get support from an insensitive system, the family is left with just one option: the final option. But even that fails. As her father and two sisters goes to accept the punishment for attempted suicide, Lisamma is beckoned back…Into the world of exploitation….
