madhu paal Thalappavu - 2008 (The Turban) The debut film of well-known actor Madhupal as a director. The film zooms in on the story of a naxalite youth named Joseph and also that of a police constable named Raveendran Pillai. The two share a very intense kind of bond, like that between brothers or the best of friends. There are times when Raveendran Pillai even seems to be identifying himself with the rebellious Joseph. But fate has something else in store for the two. A twist in fate and Raveendran Pillai is bound to shoot and kill Joseph as part of his duty. Years go by. Raveendran Pillai is haunted by a guilty conscience.
