Orkuka Vallapozhum - 2009
The journey of an old man into the innocence of the past and in search of his bellowed playmate of his childhood. On a winter night ignoring the hardships of old age, 70 year-old Sethumadhavan reaches a time-old bungalow in the high ranges after a fifteen-hour drive. The bungalow is the embodiment of his boyhood and adolescence. He lived there when he was a child at the British School where his father served as a teacher. His enquiries about Paru, the girl of his boyhood days reveal to him the story of her tragic death. Shattered and shocked, Sethumadhavan finds himself exhausted of everything life has left for him.
